When Bronwen & Frank asked me to capture their wedding down on the magical Tasmanian East Coast, it was a no-brainer. And an honour. We ventured down to Tassie as a family (Adem, myself & Luca). It was the third family trip we had done and Luca was a great traveller.
After landing in Hobart and checking into our accomodation in Swansea (2.5 hours from Hobart), we were all so tired and enchanted with the landscape of Tasmania. It was late summer, but very cool compared to Melbourne. Warm in the day, cool at night and the sea temp was freezing even for us!
The following day, it was Frank & Bronwens Wedding Day in Orford. About an hour from our accomodation. I set off on my own down south, with the music blaring and my imagination running wild. F&B had told me that the Ceremony was going to be held at Franks' Families "Bush Block", but they didn't mention to me how stunning and whimsical it was. The trees were flowering, and the bees were buzzing. The photos speak for themselves!
After the Ceremony, we drove to Spring Beach, just down the road, and captured their portraits. It was perfect timing with the sunset light! They held the dinner celebrations at Franks family home at which had undergone a massive renovation that Frank & Bronwen were involved in as architects. I didn't know what to expect but I sure got blown away at every moment of their day. It was emotional, filled with love, gratitude, sentimental moments, reflection and trust. I can't thank Bronwen & Frank for letting me be a part of it and flying me down to Tassie! Love Cass x
