04.03.23. It was 6pm on the eve of their nuptials when I started feeling really unwell. I had been caring for my husband and son who had been sick for two days, so I knew there could be a chance I’d be wiped out too. Thankfully I had kept Tessa & Michael in the loop about what was going on, and had found my incredible friend @sarahgodenziphotography to step in for me incase I couldn’t. T&M loved her, as I knew they would because Sarah is awesome. In the end, it all worked out and it showed me how special this community is and when someone needs help. I always have a contingency plan — fingers crossed I won’t need to use it again — but rest assured it’ll be taken care of. I loved editing the images Sarah captured of the day, it felt like I was there as I had been chatting to T&M in the months leading up about their plans and location ideas to suit the flow of the day. Had to share a few sneak peeks on the feed to thank both Tessa & Michael for trusting us, and Sarah for being an awesome human and stepping in for me. Cass xx
