TESTIMONIALS
TYSON & LISELLE
'Wow, thanks so much Cass! You truly have such a talent and we couldn't have made a better decision choosing you as our photographer for our Wedding Day. Thanks for being so accomodating with our family portraits - your bubbly sweet personality won all our family & friends over, and so many people commented on how lovely you were. You also made our portrait session so light and-hearted and enjoyable and went out of your way to make us feel comfortable. We really appreciate all that you did to make the day even more special for us'.
JODY & JOE
'Wow, it's hard to pick a highlight! From start to finish Cass was just a delight to work with and everything was so relaxed, easy and seamless. It felt like we had an another friend there for the day rather than photographer which was just lovely given how intimate our day was. Nothing was a problem and we always felt like we had Cass' full attention and she was dedicated to documenting our day and making it special.'

How do we book you for our Wedding?
After you have reached out about your Wedding Day, I will send you through a detailed pricing guidebook. From there, we can arrange an online meeting, or a phone conversation to get to know one another a little better. I like establishing what you're all about, and I'd like you to do the same to me. I want this experience to be fun, honest, and as human-like as possible. Once you have made your decision, we require a non-refundable $1000.00 booking fee to reserve your date. From there, we stay in touch up until your Wedding Day.
How do you approach a Wedding Day?
Before the day, I am all about communication, organisation and willingness to learn all there is about the two of you. On the day, I am there more so as a friend than a photographer. Getting to know each of your guests, your families and those most important to you. Trying to break that bridge of awkwardness by keeping things nice and light – no posing, nothing out of the 'documentary' fence... as that's where my imagination lies. Staying on the sidelines during the crucial parts, and getting amongst the emotions when it matters most, to capture those unexpected moments.
How many Weddings have you documented?
I document on average 30 weddings a year, and have been doing so since 2017!
How many images can we expect? And when do we receive them?
You can expect to receive around 500 images for a full day coverage (8 hours +). Although I don't like to put a number to it. You will receive your images in high & low resolution format, approximately 8-10 weeks after your Wedding Day. I also send through a large preview gallery the following day of your Wedding, around 100 amazing photographs known as your 'sneak peeks'.
Do you travel overseas for Weddings?
We've been to Europe, America, Malaysia and Japan for photography. I enjoy traveling as much as I enjoy shooting. If you would like me to document something for you overseas, to put it simply, we send you an inclusive quotation such as flights & accommodation. Reach out to enquire.
Do you offer Prints or Albums?
Of course we do. I spent 3 years learning how to prep images for print during my studies, and grew a passion for looking at work in print. It really is timeless. I work closely with Melbourne based fine art printers, who I have been working with since 2013. I offer a discount on your Fine Art Book if you order one at the same time as your Wedding Package.
Can you help us with our timeline?
Totally! This is what I am here for. I will work closely with you on your timeline, as it correlates directly to the quality of light at parts of the day. I want you to have the best opportunity for beautiful photographs. My recommendations will guide you on planning the itty-gritty bits of your day (incl. make up/hair, getting ready, ceremony timing, your portrait session, and party time!)
What do we receive with our Wedding Package?
I offer three Wedding Packages, 6/8/10 Hours of Photography coverage, with additional hours as an add-on. I have shaped it this way to make it flexible and completely customisable for all our couples. You receive your images in Print & Web Resolution on a Rose Gold USB (no longer after 2023), as well as a personalised Online Wedding Gallery that you can share with family & friends. We also include some special gifts in your Package when you write us a review on Facebook and Google.
How do we receive our images?
Our commercial work varies in regards to every aspect. Firstly, I doubt you're interested in a USB, we normally deliver our commercial images via Dropbox or an Online Gallery. Depending on the contract agreements, you will receive low resolution images, with the agreed usage terms. We offer half day or full day commercial rates, feel free to get in touch for a detailed Commercial Guidebook that covers every aspect.
Should I provide a 'Shot List'?
Yes, definitely. Conversing prior is fundamental in the success of your ideas and outcomes for the shoot. It is very important to be on the same page, creatively and realistically. I will ask you for a shot list and I can recommend locations if you need any guidance on logistical or styling factors for the shoot.
Do we have to sign a contract with you?
Yes. All of your contract and pricing information will be sent to you via email and discussed in person or by phone. Our contracts are signed online, which make it super easy and fast.
What if I want to use the images in print? i.e. In a magazine as an advertisement?
This really depends on our contract agreement. I work for a lot of commercial businesses, and have had my work printed on various platforms, such as escalators, magazines, brochures and advertisement banners. I distribute all of your images in Web Resolution, however Print Resolution images depend on the usage timeframe and terms. Get in touch for further information.
What do you classify as 'Commercial'?
Personally, anything that is used as content to advertise, promote, sell or showcase an item/person/lifestyle/event is considered commercial photography in my eyes. It is definitely a collaboration between the creative and the subject.
Does your portraiture session fee cover the cost of travel in Victoria?
It covers locations 1.5 hours away from Chelsea 3196. Locations further require a travel fee. If you're after interstate travel for portrait sessions, get in touch for a tailored travel quote.
How do we receive our images? How many images will we receive?
You receive your portraits on a rose gold USB, by express post. Usually within 10 working days, but sometimes our turnaround time can be a little longer. We will keep you updated with all the details throughout the process. You will receive around 60-80 edited images in high & low resolution.
Do you have any locations you'd recommend? And does the time of day matter?
Yes & yes. 100%. I have a few favourite spots that I adore for various reasons. I have done my fair share of travel over the years, overseas, interstate and rural Victoria. We are spoilt with choice here in Melboure/Victoria and I think you'd be silly to travel anywhere else for portraits if you're based here. I am really familiar with the Mornington Peninsula, as well as the Dandenong Ranges, and Melbourne CBD. There are lots of options, so it depends on what feel/mood you want for your photographs. In regards to time, it's phenomenal/perfect to plan your portrait session around the 'magic' hour (sunset). We will plan this depending on your location and the time of year.
